Description
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) to perform microbiological monitoring and GMP-compliant testing of pharmaceutical substances. Responsibilities include analyzing and documenting results, calibrating instruments, and supporting routine lab operations. The ideal candidate has relevant laboratory training, experience in a GMP environment, strong analytical skills, a structured and independent work style, and excellent German language skills. Shift work is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological monitoring in cleanrooms of classes A–D.
- Conduct GMP-compliant testing of pharmaceutical active and excipient substances according to test instructions.
- Evaluate and document test results.
- Qualify and calibrate analytical instruments.
- Perform other routine laboratory tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as CBTA, BTA, PTA, MTLA, CTA, chemical laboratory technician, or pharmaceutical technician.
- Several years of professional experience in a laboratory, ideally in a GMP environment.
- Good knowledge of cleanroom monitoring, ideally including sterile areas.
- Knowledge of instrumental analytics is an advantage, including:
- Laser diffractometry
- Microscopic methods for particle size analysis
- HPLC
- Thin-layer chromatography
- Structured, conscientious, and independent working style, with a team-oriented approach.
- High quality awareness and good process understanding.
- Proficient in standard software (MS Office).
- Very good German skills (written and spoken) required; good English skills are advantageous.
- Willingness to work in shifts (early, late, and night shifts).
